What we collect
When you request a quote through our website, we collect what you enter in the form: your name, phone number, email address and postcode, the type of project, your measurements, your preferred start date and any message you add. If you phone or email us, we keep the details you give us.
How we use it
We use your details to answer your enquiry, arrange a site visit, prepare your quote and carry out any work you ask us to do. Under UK data protection law, our lawful bases are taking steps at your request before entering a contract, performing that contract, and our legitimate interest in running our business. We do not use your details for marketing unless you have agreed to it.
Who can see it
Your details are seen by our team. They are also held by the companies that provide our website hosting (Hostinger) and our email (Google) on our behalf. We do not sell your personal data. We only share it further when the law requires us to, or when it is needed to carry out your job.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries only for as long as we need them to deal with your request. If you become a customer, we keep job and guarantee records for as long as your guarantee runs and for as long as the law requires us to keep business records.
Cookies and fonts
This website does not use advertising or analytics cookies. It uses fonts from Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google, which receives your IP address. Our staff login area uses one essential cookie to keep staff signed in.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of your data, and ask us to correct or delete it, restrict how we use it, or stop using it. To do so, contact us using the details above. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
